Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Ponte y Palacios Blanco, better known as Simón Bolívar or the Liberator, was a Venezuelan military man and politician. For his actions during the Admirable Campaign he was awarded the title of Liberator of Venezuela.
